Equus Polocrosse Tournament (Veterans) July 16th & 17th

A huge thank you to Equus Polocrosse Club for an amazing weekend and hosting the veterans matches between Ireland, Zimbabwe and the U.K. as well as an amazing tournament! πŸ™πŸ»
Carrickmines had a very successful weekend with prizes won across the grades! πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

First in D grade was taken by Eleanor Flegg, Paula Doherty and Simon O’Malley who unfortunately had to hand over the reins to Theo Boland after suffering an injury and having to withdraw, but he was there in spirit the whole time and the team did him proud! πŸ’ͺ🏻

C grade was won by Theo Boland, Cian Boland and Rosie McKeown, along with best horse and rider combo going to Cian Boland and Bourbon! πŸŽ‰

Carrickmines took second in B grade with Cillian Boland, Lauren O’Malley and George Parrish playing stellar games! πŸ™ˆ

As mentioned in our previous Facebook posts, we could like to congratulate those who made it to the Irish team, and those from our club who were selected to play, Paul Boland, Richard Donnelly, Tom O’Malley and Brendan Liddy!
A massive congratulations to the Ireland 1 team of Richard Donnelly, Hilary Barnes, Paul Boland, Tony O’Donnell and Tom O’Malley who secured the 1st place for the veterans. The Zimbabweans also chose Cian Bolands horse Chanel as best horse. πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
